What is CPD?
CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development
CPD is defined as "the holistic commitment to structured skills enhancement and personal or professional competence".
Specifiers across all disciplines need to keep abreast of the latest issues, standards and product developments. They can collect CPD points from various learning sources, including seminars, every year to maintain their professional status.
CPD is a means of channelling this information from organisations to specifiers through their CPD seminar database of 400,000 members of 32 professional institutes, all of whom require their members to undertake CPD.
