Cat6A
Uncompromised Support for 10G
Fibre
An optical fibre is a thin, transparent fibre for transmitting high speed data;
it is used when transmission speeds, distances or security requirements can
not be met by copper cabling systems.
Cat 6
Cat 6 provides performance of up to 250 MHz, more than double category 5e. Considered the de facto standard for future proofed network infrastructure.
Cat 5E
Cat 5E: Current cabling standard, used for data networks utilising frequencies up to 100 MHz. Considered a minimum specification for Ethernet technologies up to 1G BaseT.
Cat 3/Voice
Cat 3: Current cabling standard, used for data networks utilising frequencies up to 16 MHz. Popular for 10 Mbit/s Ethernet networks & voice.
