FDN - Fibre Distribution Node

The FDN is a medium to large oval shaped cap ended closure with a high number of small ports for use in underground, direct burial or aerial installations. It is available with Integrated Routing (IR) or tubing fibre management systems. The high drop port count means that it is particularly suited for use in FTTH access networks.

The base configuration of the FDN has 58 round ports and an oval port for loop through applications. The oval shape ensures that the FDN can be used where space is restricted.

The cover is environmentally sealed to the base using an ‘O’ ring and quick release clamp.

The closure cover, which can be fitted with a pressure valve, is available in 4 different lengths depending on the maximum number of trays required.

The cover is environmentally sealed to the base using an ‘O’ ring and quick release clamp. The cables are sealed using Cablelok mechanical seal or heathshrink sleeving (with the exception of the R ports).
