The UFC has is a high fibre capacity cap ended ready access closure used in underground, direct burial or aerial installations. It is available with Integrated Routing (IR) or tubing fibre management system.

The closure has a large fibre capacity and a high number of ports and is therefore particularly suited to high fibre count FTTX or trunk applications or where high splice density is required. The UFC-IR can be configured with back-to-back tray stacks and can accommodate up to 720 splices in its largest format.

The UFC base configuration has 28 round cable ports and 2 oval ports for loop through applications. The cover is available in 3 different lengths depending on the number and type of trays selected. The cover is environmentally sealed using either Cablelok mechanical seal or heatshrink and can be fitted with a pressure release valve.
