Rod End Caps

The cable rod end cap for LC connectors has been designed to cover the entire LC connector and allows the fibre installer to pass fibre cables through any wall cavity safely, preventing the connector from damage or dust.

This clever attachment complements other cable rod accessories used for cable installations and delivers an ideal solution for professional fibre optic installations. The cable rod end cap is manufactured from glass filled nylon and is available in two versions to fit two types of threads: 1/4” – 20 UNC and M5 x 0.8 making it compatible with most cable rods including HellermannTyton’s Cable Scout range.

The maximum pull-out force is 80N. Tensile load of cable will be specified by the cable manufacturer.

The cable rod end cap initially has been designed as a disposable accessory but if it remains in good condition after the first use, it can be used again up to 3-4 times.
